Fios: Financial Crisis / Subprime Crisis and e-Discovery
Financial Crisis, Litigation, and Electronic Discovery
What began as subprime and credit turmoil has escalated into a full-scale financial crisis. Subprime-related filings already exceed those of the S&L crisis of the ‘80s and 90s. And, experts agree that litigation and investigation in the financial services industry will easily continue into the next decade.
To effectively respond, legal and IT teams in the financial services industry, along with their outside counsel, need proactive e-discovery response planning, as well as timely data management services to address these complex challenges.
Webcast Series: e-Discovery for Financial Services/Subprime Litigation
Fios is hosting a webcast series to help legal and IT professionals in the financial services industry better understand the e-discovery issues they face, so that they can effectively respond to investigation and litigation demands. LaCroix will discuss major trends and developments in financial services and subprime litigation.
The subsequent webcasts, each 30 minutes in length, will address specific issues and challenges that that are part of e-discovery and will offer legal and IT teams guidance on how to address e-discovery challenges – defensibly, predictably and cost-effectively.
