Prevail sidesteps issues with macros, security,
versioning, managing with multiple applications/windows,
etc. because it displays rich HTML views of spreadsheets
rather than using native applications or application
viewers. Prevail's HTML views are non-paginated
and preserve all the original formatting, closely
modeling the native viewing experience without
the hassle. See the screenshot
below.
By default, Prevail's HTML versions of spreadsheets
expose the header and footer text (in Microsoft Excel,
header and footer text is visible only in "Print
Preview" mode). In addition, all worksheets within
a spreadsheet are concatenated together (yet clearly
delineated and labeled) for seamless scrolling and
viewing.
Fios clients can also control a number of "business
rules" or options regarding spreadsheets such as
unhiding spreadsheet columns and rows, resizing columns
and rows, and display of formulas via mouse-over. |
