As the Vice President and Managing Director of Fios Consulting, Panarella helps clients improve their overall electronic discovery practices by proactively assessing the people, processes and technologies currently involved in those practices and creating business process based improvements that reduce cost, shorten cycle time and mitigate business and legal risk.

Dennis Kiker
Director, Fios Consulting

Dennis Kiker is dedicated to helping clients prepare for and respond to the demands of litigation. As a Director in Fios Consulting, Kiker leads comprehensive consulting engagements that result in repeatable processes for efficiently and defensibly managing discovery related to complex litigation and governmental investigation. He specializes in bringing together in-house counsel, business personnel and outside counsel to develop formalized response plans that lower the costs, time and risks of discovery response. Prior to joining Fios, Kiker was a shareholder at Moran Kiker Brown PC, where he served as national discovery counsel for some of the largest manufacturing companies in the country. Kiker is a frequent speaker and author and an active participant in both the Sedona Conference and Electronic Discovery Reference Model working groups. He holds a J.D., Magna Cum Laude & Order of the Coif from the University of Michigan Law School and a B.S., in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.

Brad Harris

Brad Harris has more than 20 years of experience in the high technology and software development industry, working with Fortune 1000 companies on improving IT-enabled business practices. Over the past three years, Harris has directed product management and led e-discovery consulting engagements at Fios. As the Director of Fios' Discovery Center of Excellence, Harris is an expert in how people and information technology can enhance business processes to reduce cost and risk associated with responding to discovery obligations. He is a leading advocate for understanding the requirements around delivering efficient and legally defensible discovery processes, including managing content, evidence authentication, data collection and overall discovery readiness workflows.

Allen Gurney
Director, Fios Consulting

Allen Gurney is a litigation technology and electronic discovery veteran with a decade of in-the-trenches experience. He has successfully guided engagements for hundreds of clients, including the nation's top law firms and Fortune 500 corporations. As a Director, Gurney helps clients significantly reduce the costs and risks of the e-discovery process. Prior to this role, he served as a Fios' engagement manager focused specifically on review management. He also has served as a client services manager on Fios' delivery team, managing the successful delivery of complex e-discovery projects.

Peter McLaughlin

Peter McLaughlin has more than 15 years experience consulting with corporate clients and law firms in process improvement, corporate programs and technology implementations. As a Director, McLaughlin helps clients plan for large, full-scale e-discovery matters by identifying best practices for each phase of the process – identification, preservation, collection, processing, review and production. Prior to joining Fios Consulting, he served as Fios' Director of Training, helping clients plan for and manage major document reviews involving hundreds of attorneys and millions of documents.

Kathy Murray
Senior Manager, Fios Consulting

Kathy Murray is a business process consultant with more than 20 years experience in the high technology and legal industry, both in the United States and internationally. Her expertise lies in helping corporations assess, plan and implement change management and infrastructure programs to support service delivery requirements and corporate growth objectives. As a Senior Manager, her focus areas include business process improvement methodologies specific to e-discovery protocols and helping clients identify infrastructure gaps and building response teams. Previously, Murray spent three years developing the organizational policies and infrastructure to support Fios' rapid growth in the e-discovery market. Murray holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Oregon.

As a Senior Manager, Pall is directly responsible for helping clients create repeatable and measurable business processes for managing electronic discovery.

Dan Krahn

Dan Krahn brings more than 12 years experience as a business process consultant to the Fios Consulting team. His expertise lies in helping organizations bridge the gap between technical, managerial and client-facing requirements. He has worked with clients in both the public and private sector, with a specialty in the healthcare industry. As a Senior Consultant, Krahn is directly responsible for helping clients create repeatable and measurable business processes for managing electronic discovery. Prior to joining Fios, Krahn served as a manager at Deloitte Consulting, working on project implementations and business process improvements for clients in the healthcare industry. Krahn is completing final project work for satisfaction of an M.S. degree in Medical Informatics from the Medical College of Wisconsin/MSOE and holds a B.A. in Biology (pre-medicine) from St. John's University.

Eric Sedwick

Eric Sedwick has more than 10 years experience in the legal industry, providing records management, legal consulting and software implementation expertise to dozens of nationwide clients. As a Consultant in the Fios Consulting group, he regularly works with clients to bridge the culture and language gap between the IT and legal departments. His expertise lies in content and records management systems, developing and providing best practices and compliance management expertise related to Sarbanes-Oxley, HIPAA, Federal Rules of Civil Procedure and similar legal requirements. Sedwick holds a J.D. from the University of San Diego Law School.

Nancy Patton

Nancy Patton has worked for more than a decade in the hi-technology industry, helping companies overcome their organizational development challenges. As a Consultant, her focus is on helping organizations develop repeatable processes and frameworks for defensibly and effectively responding to e-discovery by focusing on organizational change management and team facilitation. A graduate from Lewis & Clark Law School, Patton has successfully argued before the Oregon Court of Appeals, served on the Moot Court Honor Board and received an award for Best Oral Advocate.
