Fios Names New VP of Sales to Executive Team

Veteran IT Services Executive Rj Smith Joins Fast-Growing e-Discovery Services Provider

PORTLAND, Ore., October 23, 2007 — Fios® Inc., the leading provider of electronic discovery readiness and response services, today announced that Rj Smith has joined the company as vice president of sales. Smith brings to Fios more than 25 years experience building national and worldwide sales organizations for such companies as EDS, Covansys and, most recently, Fujitsu Consulting.

According to the 2007 Socha-Gelbmann Electronic Discovery Survey, the e-discovery market is targeted to reach $4 billion by 2009. This is further supported by IT analyst firm, Gartner Group, who predicts that spending on e-discovery software technologies and services is forecast to grow at more than 30 percent annually through 2010.

Rj Smith has extensive experience and success building sales organizations focused on IT-enabled services. As senior vice president at Fujitsu Consulting, Smith managed the acquisition and integration of three companies into Fujitsu and met or exceeded sales targets each year. For Covansys, he built a sales team from scratch and delivered more than $100 million in annual revenue three years in a row. Additionally, culminating his 14-year tenure at EDS, Smith managed 60 direct reports with annual sales targets of $2 billion in the company's Western region focused Fortune 500 and corporate accounts across 14 states. He holds a B.A. in Business Administration from California State University in Fullerton.
