- e-Discovery Management in Small Matters – Fios is launching a new data processing and review service to help clients manage e-discovery in small matters. The new service is designed to help legal teams manage e-discovery in smaller, everyday cases, such as human resources litigation, internal investigations, non-class product liability claims, IP conflicts and contract disputes, as well as during early stage e-discovery negotiations and early evidence assessment.
- Fios' Review & e-Discovery Management Technologies – Fios has completed the integration of Content Analyst's conceptual search engine into Fios Prevail as well as the integration of iCONECTnXT into its data management center. Demonstrations will feature the search analytics and data-culling capabilities in Fios Prevail, as well as the foreign language, TIFF and case management capabilities in iCONECTnXT.
Fios to Address Costs & Negotiation Tactics in LegalTech's General Counsel Track
Fios is sponsoring the General Counsel Track on Wednesday, February 4, focused on "e-Discovery, Alternative Fees and Negotiation Strategies." In the morning, attendees will participate in a roundtable session, "Managing e-Discovery in an Alternative Fee Environment," which will focus on opportunities for cost savings and building predictability into the process of managing e-discovery. The afternoon session, "Let's Make a Deal," will provide attendees an opportunity to actively participate in an FRCP 26(f) e-discovery conference in front of Magistrate Judges David Waxse and Andrew Peck.
