John Hesse

John Hesse

President & Chief Executive Officer


John Hesse brings deep operational and financial expertise to Fios, including more than 20 years as a CFO of both public and private companies. He has led numerous public and private financing activities, including initial public offerings (IPOs). Most recently, John served as CFO of Vancouver-based New Edge Networks, building the company from the start-up phase to revenue of more than $130 million. John was involved in all aspects of the company's financial and corporate strategy, including capital formation, financial management, mergers and acquisitions, SOX compliance and operations. New Edge was acquired by Earthlink in 2006.

Prior to New Edge Networks, John served in executive positions at Protection One in Dallas, Tex., and Network Security Corporation, where he led the growth and sales of both companies. Hesse began his career as a staff auditor with Peat, Marwick Mitchell and Co. (now KPMG). John holds an M.B.A. and a Bachelor's in Business Administration from Southern Methodist University.

Vice President, Marketing


John Cogan is Vice President of Marketing for Fios. He is responsible for the company's overall marketing strategy, including product and service marketing, corporate communications, demand generation, and customer contact programs. John brings over 15 years of expertise to Fios having held a variety of marketing leadership roles at companies including IBM, Sequent Computer Systems and Unicru,(now Kronos). He has also served as an independent marketing consultant. John earned an M.B.A. and a B.A. from Portland State University.

Brad Gragert

Senior Vice President, Operations


Brad Gragert has spent nearly 30 years in senior leadership positions in the high technology and IT services industries, with proven success in international market development, customer delivery, sales and partner development. He has spent the past six years helping Fios build and grow its sales and channel programs to meet the high-growth needs of the company and e-discovery market. Before joining Fios, Gragert held leadership positions with prominent technology and service companies, such as Covansys, ABC Technologies Inc. (now SAS Institute Inc.), Sequent Computer Systems (now IBM), Daisy Systems and Tektronix.

Brad is focused on helping clients leverage Fios’ unparalleled SaaS technologies and professional services to achieve successful results in all phases of e-discovery – from early evidence assessment and planning through the review and production of relevant evidence. Brad holds an M.B.A. from the University of Portland and a B.A. in International Studies from Portland State University.

Jon Leitner

Chief Sales and Marketing Officer


Jonathan Leitner is Chief Sales and Marketing Officer for Fios, Inc. with responsibility for the company's direct and indirect channel sales. Leitner is also in charge of the company's go-to-market strategy, including customer advocacy. Prior to his current role, Leitner served as Regional Vice President of Sales at Automony/Interwoven, Inc. From 1995 to 2005, he held various senior management roles, leading sales organizations in both the software and services industries with product offerings such as document and record management software. Leitner holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Rochester, New York.

Mary Mack

Corporate Technology Counsel


Whether in response to an inquiry, a second request or class action litigation, Mary Mack brings legal and technical professionals together in a focused manner to determine a successful, cost-effective course of compliance with electronic discovery requests. As Corporate Technology Counsel for Fios, she has more than 20 years experience delivering enterprise-wide electronic discovery, managed services and software projects with legal and IT departments in publicly held companies. Mary is a hands-on strategic advisor to counsel for some of the largest products liability class actions, government investigations and intellectual property disputes. Clients include the largest law firms, pharmaceutical companies and insurance companies in the world.

A member of the Illinois Bar, ACCA and the ABA's Section on Litigation, Mary received her J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law (1982) and a B.A. from LeMoyne College in Syracuse, NY. She holds certifications in Computer Forensics and Computer Telephony.

Mary is one of the leading speakers and authors on electronic discovery issues, technology and the law. She is co-author of the popular book, "A Process of Illumination: The Practical Guide to Electronic Discovery," and hosts the blog, "Sound Evidence," featured on DiscoveryResources.org. She's is also regularly featured as an expert in the leading magazines and newspapers, such as The New York Times, Inside Counsel Magazine, Law.com, Chicago Lawyer, Compliance Week and Metropolitan Corporate Counsel Magazine.

Todd Trzcinski

Vice President, Finance


Todd Trzcinski has over 25 years' experience managing accounting systems and departments for both privately and publicly held corporations. Most recently, Trzcinski has been leading the accounting department as Controller of Fios, Inc. Prior to joining Fios, he served as Controller for several privately held growth companies, including Christenson Electric and Envoy Global. Other major companies in which Trzcinski has served include Consolidated Freightways and CNF Transportation; both positions involved management of international accounting operations and included five years based in Europe. He got his start in the accounting industry as an associate with Arthur Andersen & Co., performing audits, feasibility studies and financial forecasts. Trzcinski specializes in developing and managing corporate business plans, managing costing models, helping companies prepare for growth and expansion, and ensuring accounting systems and personnel are utilized to their full potential.

Fabrice Medio

Vice President, Software Engineering


For more than a decade, Fabrice Medio has led engineering teams in the United States and Europe as they endeavor to develop data-intensive applications, particularly addressing scalability and performance issues within large-scale distributed environments. Prior to joining Fios, Inc. as Vice President of Software Engineering, Medio was a Lead Member of Technical Staff at Salesforce.com. Previously he served as Director of Software Engineering at Discovery Mining, a division of Automony/Interwoven, Inc., where he drove development of the company's web-based platform and its search technologies. Medio earned a Masters Degree in Corporate and Tax Law from the Pantheon-Assas Paris II University (France).
