John Hesse

John Hesse

Interim Chief Executive Officer


John Hesse brings deep financial expertise to Fios, including more than 20 years as a CFO of both public and private companies. He has led numerous public and private financing activities, including initial public offerings (IPOs). Most recently, John served as CFO of Vancouver-based New Edge Networks, building the company from the start-up phase to revenue of more than $130 million. John was involved in all aspects of the company's financial and corporate strategy, including capital formation, financial management, mergers and acquisitions, SOX compliance and operations. New Edge was acquired by Earthlink in 2006.

Prior to New Edge Networks, John served in executive positions at Protection One in Dallas, Tex., and Network Security Corporation, where he led the growth and sales of both companies. Hesse began his career as a staff auditor with Peat, Marwick Mitchell and Co. (now KPMG). John holds an M.B.A. and a Bachelor's in Business Administration from Southern Methodist University.

Michael Harnish, CPA, CITP, EnCE, CISA, comes to Fios with more than 30 years experience in organizing, managing, architecting and deploying cost-effective, highly productive technology-enabled business solutions. As one of the first recipients of the American Institute of CPA's (AICPA) Pathfinder award and later recognized as the winner of the national award for "Innovative User of Technology," Mike has served in groundbreaking roles, such as the first chairman of the AICPA's Technology Section and as a member of the American Bar Association's (ABA) Futurist Committee.

Prior to joining Fios, he led a technology consulting practice for Plante & Moran, the 11th largest certified public accounting and business advisory firm in the U.S., where, among other things, he formed the firm's computer forensic and electronic discovery practice. Prior to that, he served for more than five years as chief information officer for the law firm of Dickinson Wright LLP. A graduate of Purdue University, Mike has also held executive positions with such companies as CPA2BIZ, the commercial services arm of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA); Lotus Consulting Services; and Crowe Chizek & Company.

Mike holds a B.S. in Industrial Management with a Computer Science Technical Option from Purdue University. He also holds numerous professional certifications, including Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP), EnCase Certified Examiner (EnCE), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certificate in Data Processing (CDP) and Certified Lotus Professional (CLP).

Brad Gragert

Brad Gragert has spent nearly 30 years in senior leadership positions in the high technology and IT services industries, with proven success in direct sales, international market development, customer delivery, and alliance and partner development. Prior to being appointed Senior Vice President of Operations, he helped Fios build and grow its channel programs and sales organization to meet the high-growth needs of the company and e-discovery market. Before joining Fios, Gragert held leadership positions with leading technology and service companies, such as Covansys, ABC Technologies Inc. (now SAS Institute Inc.), Sequent Computer Systems (now IBM), Daisy Systems and Tektronix.

Brad is focused on ensuring Fios' discovery management services, from collection through production, are delivered in a timely, defensible and cost-effective manner, leveraging people, process and technology to achieve success for every client. Brad holds an M.B.A. from the University of Portland and a B.A. in International Studies from Portland State University.

Mary Mack

Corporate Technology Counsel


Whether in response to an inquiry, a second request or class action litigation, Mary Mack brings legal and technical professionals together in a focused manner to determine a successful, cost-effective course of compliance with electronic discovery requests. As Corporate Technology Counsel for Fios, she has more than 20 years experience delivering enterprise-wide electronic discovery, managed services and software projects with legal and IT departments in publicly held companies. Mary is a hands-on strategic advisor to counsel for some of the largest products liability class actions, government investigations and intellectual property disputes. Clients include the largest law firms, pharmaceutical companies and insurance companies in the world.

A member of the Illinois Bar, ACCA and the ABA's Section on Litigation, Mary received her J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law (1982) and a B.A. from LeMoyne College in Syracuse, NY. She holds certifications in Computer Forensics and Computer Telephony.

Mary is one of the leading speakers and authors on electronic discovery issues, technology and the law. She is co-author of the popular book, "A Process of Illumination: The Practical Guide to Electronic Discovery," and hosts the blog, "Sound Evidence," featured on DiscoveryResources.org. She's is also regularly featured as an expert in the leading magazines and newspapers, such as The New York Times, Inside Counsel Magazine, Law.com, Chicago Lawyer, Compliance Week and Metropolitan Corporate Counsel Magazine.

Bonnie Worley

Co-Founder, Corporate Secretary and Administrative Services Manager


As a 20-year entrepreneur, Bonnie Worley is always one to look for a better way. While providing service to a client, she and her business partner recognized a gap that needed to be bridged between technology and litigation requirements. Bonnie established and co-founded Fios, Inc. in 1999 and the company was one of the first to enter that market. She has grown the company from its inception and is an integral part of the executive team at Fios. She serves as the Corporate Secretary to the Board of Directors and the company's Administrative Services Manager. Bonnie is a member of the Portland Chapter of Women in E-Discovery, and The Association of Executive and Administrative Professionals.

Prior to Fios, Bonnie started and managed several companies and was instrumental in the successful launch of a drug rehabilitation clinic in the Portland area.
