Responsibilities
- Take custody of client media while observing strict chain of custody guidelines;
- Receive media, logging in client and data information into a database;
- Label and organize incoming media ensuring accuracy, accountability and tracking;
- Restore client data to internal network shares while maintaining strict data integrity guidelines and procedures;
- Initiate data processing applications and sequences;
- Monitor processing machines for application errors;
- Perform data inspection at predetermined stages to validate data quality;
- Prepare client deliverables, including data preparation, packaging, and shipping;
- Ensure outgoing packages make it to the local shipping facility on time;
- Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months computer operator experience in Windows environment;
- Excellent follow through and attention to detail;
- Ability to exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action;
- Excellent troubleshooting skills;
- Excellent verbal communication skills;
- Strong multitasking skills;
- Familiarity with basic database queries and reporting;
- SQL experience is desired;
- Demonstrated ability to work in a deadline-driven production environment;
- Basic scripting skills (i.e., Perl), preferred;
- Linux and/or Macintosh experience a plus.
Work Environment
- Day Shift: Mon – Fri 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.;
- Must be willing and able to work occasional evenings and weekends as required by the business;
- Extended periods of typing and viewing monitors required;
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds occasionally.
