William P. Lyons
Chairman
William P. Lyons is an experienced software industry CEO with an extensive background in management, sales and marketing, operations, research and development, and mergers and acquisitions. He has successfully taken several companies public. Most recently, Bill was chairman and CEO of AXS-One, Inc., an electronic archiving and retrieval company acquired by Unify, Inc. in 2009. Prior to AXS-One, Bill led five companies, including Ashton-Tate Corporation, a PC application software company acquired by Borland International, Inc. Bill began his business career working for IBM Corporation where his last position was VP Software, Personal Computers with responsibility for product management for all PC hardware and software products. Bill served as a first lieutenant in the U.S. Army Transportation Corps. He received a B.A. from The College of William and Mary, where he currently serves on the Board of Advisors to the School of Business.
John Hesse
Director, CEO and President
John Hesse brings deep operational and financial expertise to Fios, including more than 20 years as a CFO of both public and private companies. He has led numerous public and private financing activities, including initial public offerings (IPOs). Most recently, John served as CFO of Vancouver-based New Edge Networks, building the company from the start-up phase to revenue of more than $130 million. John was involved in all aspects of the company's financial and corporate strategy, including capital formation, financial management, mergers and acquisitions, SOX compliance and operations. New Edge was acquired by Earthlink in 2006.
Prior to New Edge Networks, John served in executive positions at Protection One in Dallas, Tex., and Network Security Corporation, where he led the growth and sales of both companies. Hesse began his career as a staff auditor with Peat, Marwick Mitchell and Co. (now KPMG). John holds an M.B.A. and a Bachelor's in Business Administration from Southern Methodist University.
David Eisler
Director
David Eisler has served as a director of the Company since July 2005. David is a Managing Director at Banyan Capital Partners, a private equity fund headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia. Prior to Banyan, David spent several years in investment banking with Scotia Capital Inc. David has a degree in Engineering from Queen's University, an MBA from the University of British Columbia and is a Professional Engineer. In addition to the Company, David is currently a director of Genoa Healthcare LLC and Q'Max Solutions Inc. and is a past director of Bevo Agro Inc., ISR, Inc. and DTI Dental Technologies Inc.
Christopher Junker
Director
Christopher Junker brings 20 years of leadership capabilities, legal and technology domain expertise, and a successful history of growing businesses to Fios' board of directors. Chris was formerly President and CEO of Fios. Prior to Fios he served as general manager of the iManage business unit for Autonomy Corporation (formerly Interwoven). At Interwoven, he served as the general manager and vice president of sales for the legal and professional industry solutions (PSIS) team, where he ran the day-to-day operations of the PSIS business and played a key role in leading the company through 21 consecutive quarters of year-over-year revenue growth and operating margin expansion.
Alison Killilea
Director
Alison Killilea is a Vice President at W Capital Partners, a direct secondary private equity firm based in New York. Alison has over ten years of finance and capital markets experience. At W Capital, Alison is an investment professional involved in all aspects of deal sourcing, deal execution and portfolio management. Prior to W Capital, Alison was an Associate in investment banking at Piper Jaffray where she focused on originating and structuring private convertible securities and derivative financings for public companies. Prior to Piper, Alison was a Senior Associate at Robertson Stephens where she specialized in venture capital offerings for technology, consumer and healthcare companies in the United States. Alison also worked in the Quantitative Strategy Group at Deutsche Bank Asset Management. Alison received an M.B.A. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a B.A. from Middlebury College.
Kevin Scott
Director
Kevin Scott has served as a director of the Company since July 2001. Kevin is Managing Partner at Maywood Capital Partners, a venture capital firm based in Redwood City, CA. Prior to Maywood Capital, Kevin was a partner for eight years at 3i, an international venture capital firm. Kevin has over 20 years of experience working with venture capital and high technology businesses. Before joining 3i, Kevin was a partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers' transaction services practice where he advised technology clients throughout the M&A process. Previously, Kevin was involved in the startup of a software company in Boston, Massachusetts. Kevin received a BA in Political Economics from the University of California, Berkeley and an MBA from Northwestern University.
