John Hesse brings deep financial expertise to Fios, including more than 20 years as a CFO of both public and private companies. He has led numerous public and private financing activities, including initial public offerings (IPOs). Most recently, John served as CFO of Vancouver-based New Edge Networks, building the company from the start-up phase to revenue of more than $130 million. John was involved in all aspects of company's financial and corporate strategy, including capital formation, financial management, mergers and acquisitions, SOX compliance and operations. New Edge was acquired by Earthlink in 2006.

Prior to New Edge Networks, John served in executive positions at Protection One in Dallas, Tex., and Network Security Corporation, where he led the growth and sales of both companies. Hesse began his career as a staff auditor with Peat, Marwick Mitchell and Co. (now KPMG).

John and his wife Karen have two daughters, and live in the Battleground area of Clark County, Washington.
